In the context of aquiring the Görlitz biotechnology and diagnostic company Partec GmbH, the Sysmex Corporation wishes to announce that the name has now officially been changed to Sysmex Partec GmbH.

New Name – identical Mission

Bundled strength to shape the advancement of healthcare

Görlitz, 17. September 2014 – As Partec announced in October last year, the Sysmex Corporation, with head office in Kobe, Japan, has acquired the Görlitz biotechnology and diagnostic company along with its subsidiaries Partec GmbH in Münster and Saxonia Biocell GmbH in Görlitz. In the context of the related integration process, the company wishes to announce that the name has now officially been changed to Sysmex Partec GmbH. All three companies, with a total of some 135 jobs, are now a single company with head office in Görlitz and operations in Münster. It marks a major step in Sysmex and Partec growing together.

The high-tech company’s head office in Görlitz is receiving reinforcement from top to bottom and being expanded through additional investments.

By bringing together the Partec flow cytometry and its own expertise in haematology and laboratory automation, global player Sysmex plans to rapidly expand its fields of expertise around the world. Bringing together the two companies also means the combined operation will be able to better serve the market segments Partec has served to date and that the solutions Partec has offered so far can be further augmented.

The new structure opens up new export opportunities: where Partec was operational in 128 countries in the past, it now has available a sales network in over 200 countries around the world for its ‘Made in Germany’ products. Its cost-effective, specially adapted products for developing countries that are often so essential for survival in HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria diagnostics will also now also be more widely distributed.

In the future, all Partec products will be distributed globally under the Sysmex master brand and so two healthy companies – be it of different size, can combine their strengths. Through joint synergy and a shared vision, the two are looking forward to developing new diagnostic systems and service and will apply their joint vision for those who need the help most – the patients. This is perfectly in line with the Sysmex mission statement of ‘Shaping the Advancement of Healthcare’.
