Partec is very pleased and proud to share with you that among 4,662 products from 54 countries, the CyFlow® Cube 6 flow cytometer has been awarded the "red dot best of the best 2013 design award", also called the "design oscar". The "red dot award" is one of the largest and most important design competitions worldwide and the CUBE 6 system impressed the international expert jury consisting of 37 members. At the same time, Partec was granted the "red dot design award 2013" for its innovative stand-alone CyFox® DNA/RNA gel electrophoresis system with "live view" function. Assessment criteria of the "red dot award" include degree of innovation, functionality, formal quality, ergonomics, durability, symbolic and emotional content, product periphery, self-explanatory quality and ecological compatibility. These awards again underline Partec's leading position in development, design, manufacturing and quality of cutting-edge instrumentation in healthcare, diagnostics and life sciences.

Besides regularly introducing innovative technology platforms, Partec's continuous and substantial investments into R&D lead to new as well as significantly optimized solutions. Recently, Partec presented a new technique to determine bacterial counts for ensuring the safety of drinking water. This rapid and reliable method has now been recommended by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health.

At CYTO 2013, the XXVIII ISAC Congress of the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry in San Diego, May 19-22, Partec will present its product and application solution portfolio. You are cordially invited to visit our exhibition booth #830 where you will see products like the CUBE 8 and CUBE 6 flow cytometry systems as well as the revolutionary Partec LightSpeed Sorter®. If you are interested in flow cytometry technology ideally suited for a broad range of medical and non-medical applications, instruments able to analyze nanoparticles as small as 50nm and able to detect and sort viruses, or if you are looking for highest resolution DNA measurements with uniquely low CVs =0.5% please be sure to make a stop at the Partec booth.
